Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Zurvia helps local service businesses ask their customers for reviews after a job. Zurvia is operated by 36PIXELS LLC ("Zurvia", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers zurvia.com, the Zurvia app at my.zurvia.com, and the text messages and emails we send on behalf of businesses that use Zurvia.

Questions: support@zurvia.com.

Who this policy is about

  • Businesses that use Zurvia (our customers) and the people on their team who log in.
  • Their customers, who receive review requests by text or email. The business decides who to contact; we process those customers' information on the business's behalf and following its instructions.

Information we collect

  • Account information: names and email addresses of people who log in, business name, address, phone number, website and Google Business Profile details. To register a business for texting, the phone carriers also require its legal name, EIN, business type and an authorized representative's name, title, email and phone.
  • Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and billing contact, never your full card number.
  • Customer information provided by the business: a customer's name, mobile number and/or email address and a job reference, sent to us from the business's software (for example GorillaDesk), our API, a CSV upload or manual entry.
  • Message activity: the review requests we send, whether they were delivered, whether the review link was clicked (and when), replies customers send back, and opt-outs.
  • Google reviews (only if a business connects its Google Business Profile): the reviews on that business's own profile, including each reviewer's public display name, star rating, review text and date.
  • Technical information: a login cookie to keep you signed in, IP addresses used for security and to limit abuse, and a "verify you're human" check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on our signup and login forms.
  • Website analytics: on zurvia.com (not in the app) we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show us which pages people view, how they found the site, and their general location and type of device. We use it only to understand and improve the website, not for advertising. You can block it in your browser's cookie settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
  • Advertising measurement: on zurvia.com and on our signup and login page (my.zurvia.com/login), but never inside the app where business and customer information is shown, we use the Meta Pixel. It lets Meta (Facebook and Instagram) know which of these pages were viewed, when someone qualifies for the guarantee on our get-started quiz, and when someone submits our signup form, along with information such as IP address, browser and device. We use it to see whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to signups and to show our ads to people more likely to be interested. Meta may connect this information to a Facebook or Instagram account and handles it under Meta's Privacy Policy.

How we use information

  • To send review requests and follow-up reminders on the business's behalf, at the times and in the wording the business chooses.
  • To register businesses with the phone carriers so their texts can be delivered.
  • To show the business its results: requests sent, clicks, new Google reviews and customer replies.
  • To recognize customers who have probably already left a review, so we stop asking them. We do this from clicks on review links and, when the business has connected its Google Business Profile, by matching reviewer names to the customers that business asked.
  • To forward customer replies to the business.
  • To bill for the service, provide support, send service emails (such as login links), keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell personal information. Information about businesses' customers, message activity and Google user data is never used for advertising. The only advertising use is the Meta Pixel on our website and signup page described above, which measures our own ads.

Text messages

Businesses use Zurvia to send their own customers review requests by text after a service. Message frequency is up to 2 messages per service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. None of the sharing described in this policy includes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

Google user data

When a business connects its Google Business Profile, Zurvia reads the reviews on that business's profile. We use this data only to show the business its reviews and to recognize which of its customers already left a review, so they aren't asked again. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and people at Zurvia do not read it except with the business's permission, for security or to comply with the law.

Zurvia's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

A business can disconnect at any time in Zurvia (Settings, "Who left a Google review") or from its Google Account's permissions page. We delete the Google review data we stored for that business within 30 days of disconnecting.

Who we share information with

  • The business that sent the request sees its own customers' information, message activity and replies.
  • Service providers that run parts of Zurvia for us: Cloudflare (hosting, data storage and email), Twilio (text messages), Stripe (payments) and Google (business search, Business Profile data and website analytics). They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives the website and signup-page activity described under "Advertising measurement," to measure and show our ads. Meta does not receive information about the customers businesses send review requests to.
  • Phone carriers and The Campaign Registry receive the business details needed to register a business for texting.
  • Software a business connects (for example GorillaDesk): we read the job and customer information needed to send requests.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect people, Zurvia or the service.
  • Business transfers: if Zurvia is sold or merged, information may move to the new owner under this policy.

How long we keep information

  • Account, customer and message information is kept while the business's account is open, and deleted within 90 days after the account is closed, unless we must keep it longer by law.
  • The original copies of customer reply emails are kept for up to 12 months.
  • Google review data is deleted within 30 days after a business disconnects its profile.
  • Opt-out records are kept so we keep honoring them.

Your choices

  • Customers who received a review request: reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. To have your information removed, contact the business that contacted you or email us.
  • Businesses: you can update your information in the app, disconnect integrations and Google at any time, and ask us to export or delete your data by emailing support@zurvia.com.
  • Website visitors: you can block analytics and advertising cookies in your browser's settings, use Google's opt-out add-on, and control the ads Meta shows you in your Facebook ad preferences.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit. Passwords aren't used (we email single-use login links), and access keys for connected services are stored encrypted. Access to customer information is limited to what's needed to run and support the service.

Children

Zurvia is a service for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and tell businesses by email about significant changes.
